121 new cases of Covid-19 were registered on Friday as the number of active cases continues to increase, now reaching 2,167.

The health authorities, in their daily update, said that 105 patients recovered from the virus on Friday.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 8,681 cases of the virus on the islands, with 6,406 people recovering and 108 deaths registered.

The total number of swab tests carried out so far now stands at 398,513
