Anglu Vella, one of the last residents of the island of Comino, has passed away.
Vella – known as Anglu ta’ Kemmuna – passed away on Wednesday as a result of kidney complications. He was one of the last people to continue to live on the island Comino.
Salvu Vella and his sister Veggie now remain as permanent residents on the island.
His funeral will take place on Saturday at the Madonna ta’ Loretu church in Ghajnsielem at 4pm.
