AstraZenica has confirmed that its vaccine doses which arrived in Malta are safe to use, the health authorities said.
A government statement read that the temperatures in which the vaccine was kept while the consignment was being brought to Malta was according to the established criteria.
It was recently reported that the health authorities were concerned about a temperature probe used in the consignment. As a precaution, the authorities checked with the company, despite the fact that other temperature recorders were working fine. The company told the health authorities that the vaccines are ok for use.
