Prime Minister Robert Abela has asked the police to identify the minister mentioned by Vince Muscat in connection with a 'big job', which also allegesly involved Chris Cardona, Lovin Malta reports.

Testifying in court on Tuesday in the Caruana Galizia murder case, Vince Muscat had made brief mention of a 'big job', which allegedly involved a current minister and Cardona. Abela questioned outside parliament, described the allegation as "vague". Regardless, he asked the Police Commissioner to investigate.

Last year, it was reported that Muscat had told the police, in an attempt to get a presidential pardon at the time, how a botched heist on HSBC in 2010 was planned and executed, and included details of someone believed to have been in politics. It is unclear whether this is the 'big job' Muscat was referring to.
