A 22 year old, Somali man was arrested early this morning after the Police received reports that two persons were stealing from vehicles.

The allegedly theft was happening in Triq il-Qattus in Ħal Għaxaq around 1:45 this morning.

Police from the Rapid Intervention Unit was immediately on the spot indicated and started searching for these two men.

After a few minutes in Triq Ġużeppi Gravina, a man, matching the description given, was stopped and arrested. He was taken to the Police Depot in Floriana for more investigations.

In the meantime, yesterday another two men were taken to court and also accused of theft from vehicles in Ħal Għaxaq and Ħaż-Żebbuġ. These men were 45 and 49.
