30 new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities on Wednesday.

38 people meanwhile have recovered from the virus, while no new deaths were reported for another day.

The number of active cases now stands at 280.

1,785 swab tests were carried out on Tuesday, taking that total number of swab tests up to 876,070 so far.

Up till Tuesday, 352,421 doses of the vaccine had been administered, with 111,318 people having received both doses of the vaccine.

Malta has had 30,411 cases of the virus. 29,715 of those have recovered, while 416 have died.
