Five new Covid-19 cases reported

Five new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities on Tuesday.

One person meanwhile has recovered, meaning that the number of active cases currently stands at 27.

No deaths related to the virus were recorded in the last 24 hours.

1,649 swab tests were done on Monday, taking the total so far up to 968,012.

Meanwhile, 631,446 doses of the vaccine were administered as of Monday, with 353,164 of those being a first dose.

290,280 people are now fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 30,595 cases in total. 30,148 of those have recovered, while 420 have died.
