Survey shows PL has nearly 56% of popular support, PN 42%

A survey carried out by statistician Vince Marmara shows that the Labour Party enjoys 55.9% of popular support, with the Nationalist Party trailing on 42.4%.

Publishing the results on Facebook, Marmara said that the scientific survey used the Multiple Imputation Technique.

Comparing the survey with the results of the last election, the PL has gained 0.9%, while the PN lost 1.3%. There was also an increase of 0.4% for APPD or others.

Marmara said that the survey was held between 25 June and 1 July on a sample of 830 persons, with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4%.

Other results of the survey, which was published in it-Torca, shows that Prime Minister Robert Abela enjoys the trust of 51% of those interviewed, with Bernard Grech behind on 32.5%.
