A woman was seriously hurt after she fell down the stairs in Rabat on Saturday, the police said.
The accident took place in Mithna Street at 7pm.
The woman, aged 43, fell down the stairs in her residence.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Nadine Lia is leading an inquiry.
