Will England fans like it? Malta police use Chiellini meme to warn about strong winds

The Italy-England Euro 2020 final is still grabbing headlines and a meme used by the Malta police force may lead to some controversy on the social media.

To warn against strong winds this weekend, the Malta Police uploaded a meme showing Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini grabbing Bukayo Saka by the shirt – with Force 6 written on the defender’s shirt.

Chiellini is representing the strong winds with Saka the plans for a day by the beach.

In other words, the strong winds are set to spoil many people’s idea for a day by the sea.

Just as much as Italy spoiled England's chances of becoming European champions.

But perhaps England fans will not like the meme very much. That action has been seen by many England followers as one which should have led to the red card being shown to the Italy captain, and which could have possibly change the story of the game.

Chiellini completed the game, and Italy won the final after a penalty shootout.

The photo of Chiellini pulling Saka’s shirt has been used several times this week to represent the way Italy beat England in the final; fans of Italy may see the funny side, but will England fans like it?
