Saturday has given the Maltese Islands some respite from the heat.

Although the temperature is at a high of 34 degrees (feel like 36), it is little when compared to the 38-39 degrees which we experienced in the past days, with a feel like temperature of 40-41.

But the sizzling heat is not over.

Sunday and Monday are expected to be more or less like Saturday, but the temperature is set to rise again as from Tuesday, reaching 38 degrees (feel like 40), and 40 on Wednesday (feel like 41).

It will drop again to 37 on Thursday and 34 on Friday.

So the advice is to stay away from the sun as much as possible and drink lots of water.
