An 82-year-old man was seriously injured after he fell onto rocks near the Independence Garden in Sliema.
The accident occurred at 10,30am, near Triq ix-Xatt. An ambulance rushed the man to Mater Dei Hospital.
A Magisterial inquiry was launched and investigations are ongoing.
