Thirty-four new Covid-19 cases were registered Saturday, with 50 patients recovering, health authorities said.

A man aged 96 became the latest victim of the virus, increasing the number of deaths to 447.

The number of cases registered in Malta is now 36,708, with 35,142 patients who recovered.

There are now 723 active cases.

The health authorities said that 31 patients are in hospital, with three of them in intensive care.

As of Friday, 804,841 vaccination doses were administered.
