15 new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities in their latest health update on Wednesday.

19 people meanwhile have recovered, and with no new deaths related to the virus reported the number of active cases stands at 218.

11 patients – three less than Tuesday – are currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, while four of those are in intensive care.

871,592 doses of the vaccine had been administered up until Tuesday, with 47,312 of those being booster doses.

Malta has had 37,599 cases of Covid-19, of which 36,512 have recovered. 460 people have died.
