A man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from a shop in St Julian’s on Wednesday evening, the police said.

A hooded man armed with a knife entered the shop at 11pm and demanded money from the cashier, a 31-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay.

He then made off with the cash.

The police are investigating.
