Covid-19: 95 new cases registered as upward trend continues

Ninety-five new Covid-19 cases were recorded Saturday as the upward trend in Malta continues, figures released by the health authorities said.

With 47 patients recovering, the number of active cases has continued to rise, reaching 1,051.

No deaths were reported on Saturday, which kept the number of victims stable at 468.

There are 12 Covid-19 patients in hospital, one of whom is in intensive care.

The health authorities said 945,882 vaccination doses have been administered, 110,676 of which were booster doses.

The number of cases registered in Malta so far is 39,075, with 37,237 recoveries.
