73 meanwhile have recovered from the virus, meaning that the number of active cases has increased slightly to 1,396.

17 patients meanwhile are currently receiving treatment at Mater Dei Hospital, with two of those in intensive care.

993,372 doses of the vaccine have been administered thus far, with 154,712 of those being booster doses.

Malta has had 40,532 cases of the virus. 38,346 of those have recovered, while 471 have died.
