A construction worker has been injured in a fall at a construction site.

The fall happened in Triq Alfred Gauci in St. Julian’s on Tuesday early afternoon.

The man is a 65-year-old Maltese from Sliema. 

He fell from a height or around one floor. 

The castualty was assisted on site by emergency doctors and was assisted by members of the Civil Protection Department.

He was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police later said the man suffered grievous injuries.
