A 62-year-old woman from Naxxar was grievously injured in a four-vehicle crash in St Paul's Bay.

The accident occurred at 4pm on Saturday on Burmarrad road. The woman was driving a Subaru Forester. The other vehicles involved were an Otokar Kent C bus driven by a 48-year-old man from St Paul's Bay, a Volvo XC60 driven by a 55-year-old man from Mellieha and a Volkswagen Polo driven by a 55-year-old man from Xewkija, Gozo.

The woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and investigations are ongoing. The other people involved in the crash did not suffer injuries.
