A traffic accident in Għajnsielem, Gozo, left an English woman grievously injured.

The accident occurred at 11.15am on Triq Mgarr.

A 28-year-old English man lost control of a quad bike. The 25-year-old woman was also on the bike. Both were taken to the Gozo General Hospital. The woman suffered grievous injuries while the man was lightly injured. Investigations are ongoing.
