A man who was seriously injured after he fell down the stairs in his private residence in Kercem has died in hospital, the police said.
The accident happened in Gamiem Street at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
The police said the man, aged 63, died in hospital on Thursday.
Magistrate Simone Grech is leading an inquiry.
