Green walls set up at the Mosta Technopark last year have not last long.

Most of the plants that formed part of the project have died or are in the process of dying, employees who work there told The Malta Independent.

Pictures they sent us show a level of neglect that led to the plants dying – and we’re still in winter, the employees remarked. One wonders what it would look like in the dry, hot summer months.

Some €70,000 was spent on the project, but it did not last a year, one employee said.
