Opposition leader Bernard Grech failed to clearly answer a question asked by the media over the costings of the PN's electoral programme, which have not yet been published.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Grech presented several proposals which improve the quality of life for workers in the public sector.

Asked about the costings for the PN's proposals, Grech said that undoubtedly, the proposals include a number of expenses, which he deemed as investments.

Grech said he is not afraid to create reforms which incentivize the worker and shift the government salary scales for better pay for workers, in this case the workers in the public sector.

"All workers have the right for a better pay," Grech said.

Grech said that the PN has already devised these costings, and that the PN will save the money which the PL is wasting. He then said that the costings will be published in the coming hours, in the coming days.

He said that the costings are certainly an important investment for the country.

Grech was also asked about how much the PN is spending on adverts for the electoral campaign. Grech replied that the Labour party has substantially more billboards and adverts than the PN does, as Prime Minister Robert Abela has the national broadcaster and several other authorities under his wing, he said.

He said that the expenses the PN made with regards to adverts will be collected and published as the PN's expenses, which "definitely came from legitimate sources, unlike Abela's," Grech said.
