A construction worker fell to his death in San Gwann this morning, the police said.

The accident took part in Gallina Street at 8.30am.

The worker, a Syrian aged 25 who is resident in Birkirkara, fell two storeys while working.

A medical team was called on site, certifying his death.

A magisterial inquiry is being led by Magistrate Noel Bartolo.
