Three more people have died with Covid-19, taking the total number of victims to 696, statistics published by the health authorities show.

No information is being given on the gender and age of the victims, and neither is the government providing details on the number of people being given treatment for Covid at Mater Dei Hospital.

There were 189 new cases of the virus reported, which took the number of cases registered in Malta so far to 91,221.

The number of people who recovered is now 85,976, while there are 4,153 active cases in the community.
