A man died early this morning after falling down a flight of stairs during a fight, the police said.
The police are treating the incident as a murder.
The incident took place in Triq it-Turisti, St Paul’s Bay, at 1.30am.
The police said that as officers were on their way to the site, they were informed that a man had been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The man, aged 60 of St Paul’s Bay, was certified dead soon afterwards.
The police said that the man fell down the stairs of an outlet during a fight he was involved in.
The police are questioning another man in connection with the incident.
Magistrate Astrid May Grima is leading an inquiry.
