Woman grievously injured after being hit by car

A woman was grievously injured on Tuesday evening after she was hit by a car, the police said.

The police said that the woman was hit by a Mazda which was parked, but which suddenly rolled forward.

The woman, aged 23 and of Italian nationality, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The accident happened in Brocktorff Street, Msida, at 7.15pm.
