The Conventual Franciscan Order in Malta announced the death of exorcist Fr Elija Vella, at the age of 81.

Vella was a popular figure on televised discussion shows. Beneath the announcement, many shared their condolences. "Eternal rest dear Fr Elia. Enjoy the loving embrace of your creator. Thank you for everything," one person commented, "Rest in Peace," many said.
