A tribute to the late Robert Arrigo was paid yesterday before the game played between Manchester United and Tottenham.
Arrigo, a Spurs fan, was remembered ahead of the game on the initiative of Nationalist whip Robert Cutajar, a Man Utd fan.
Cutajar told The Malta Independent that initially his intention was to tell the ground compere, Alan Keegan, to send best wishes to Arrigo.
But since Arrigo passed away on Tuesday, the message had to be changed to one of condolences to Arrigo’s family.
Manchester United won the game 2-0.
