A boy aged eight was seriously injured on Saturday morning when he fell three storeys onto a parked car, the police said.

The accident took place in Villeggatura Street, St Paul’s Bay, at 9.30am.

The boy fell off the balcony in the residence where he resides, the police said.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Magistrate Nadine Lia is leading an inquiry.
