The Turkish man who was seriously injured in a fall on a construction site four days ago has died in hospital, the police said.

The man was seriously injured on Friday morning when he fell a height of one and a half storeys on a construction site.

The police said the accident took place at 11am in Victor Denaro Street, Msida.

The man, a 43-year-old Turk who lives in Msida, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He died in hospital on Tuesday.

Magistrate Astrid May Grima is leading an inquiry.
