A man has been stabbed to death on St Julian’s.
The police said this incident took place in Ross Street at 3.30pm on Monday.
The stabbing followed an argument between a number of men, the police said, with the aggressors, believed to be three, making their escape immediately afterwards.
The stabbed man, a Romanian national, aged 44, was taken to hospital, where he died some time later.
Magistrate Charmaine Galea is leading an inquiry.
The police have mounted a search for the aggressors.
