710 parliamentary questions yet to be answered

A total of 710 parliamentary questions have yet to be answered in Parliament, a parliamentary question revealed.

PN MP Jerome Caruana Cilia made a parliamentary question to the Speaker of the House Anglu Farrugia, where he asked the Speaker to say how many parliamentary questions have been asked during this legislature thus far.

Caruana Cilia also asked Farrugia to specify how many of them are still unanswered.

Farrugia said that up until 9 January 2023, 5,072 parliamentary questions were asked. Of these, 380 parliamentary questions have yet to appear on the Parliament’s Agenda.

330 parliamentary questions were answered with ‘the information is still being collected,’ or ‘the answer will be given in another session.’ This brings the total number of unanswered parliamentary questions to 710.
