Six teenagers were injured when the car they were in crashed into a pole at Ta’ Qali on Friday night, the police said.
The accident took place at 11.45pm.
The car, a Toyota Tercel, was bring driven by an 18-year-old man from Siggiewi.
Five passengers were riding with him – two 18-year-old men from Zebbug and Qormi, an 18-year-old woman of Ghaxaq and two girls aged 16, resident in Siggiewi.
Several ambulances took the injured youths to hospital.
One of the 16-year-old girls and the 18-year-old woman were slightly hurt, while the rest of the youths were grievously injured.
