A man was seriously injured on Saturday evening when he suffered burns while working on fireworks, the police said Sunday.
The accident happened in a fireworks factory in Ta’ JKandja, limits of Siggiewi, at 6.30pm.
The man, aged 27, from Mqabba, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Philip Geale Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
