During a visit to the James Caterers Food Factory in Bulebel, Abela met with employees and company management to discuss the expansion of the company and its impact on job creation.
Abela emphasized the importance of strengthening investment to improve the situation for workers and to provide them with opportunities to move forward.
He said that government is committed to creating an environment that supports investment, including strategic decisions such as subsidies to stabilize energy prices.
Abela continued that this decision will benefit workers and their families who have been affected by international circumstances.
He also highlighted the importance of sustainable operations and announced additional incentives for sustainable practices.
“These steps will create more quality job opportunities and improve the lives of families in Malta,” Abela said.
Accompanying the Prime Minister on his visit were government MPs Omar Farrugia and Cressida Galea.
