An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen in a robbery in Pieta on Monday morning, the police said.
The robbery took place in an outlet in St Luke’s Road at 10.15am.
A hooded man entered the shop and demanded money from the cashier, making off with the cash and other items.
The police have mounted a search for the robber.
Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit is leading an inquiry.
