‘Heartstrings and Memories’ - A Symphony of Paintings Unveiled in Senglea

A one-of-a-kind collection of paintings by five exceptionally talented artists who will bring their unique perspective to life, and make each visitor resonate with emotion and nostalgia is opening at Art by the Seaside in Senglea. Heartstrings and Memories invites art enthusiasts and art connoisseurs to embark on a visual journey through time and emotion. After their last successful exhibition, Art by the Seaside Gallery will once again come alive  this time with a melodic fusion of colours and brushstrokes, exuding a timeless charm that tugs at the heartstrings to an era where the purest form of art  is translated onto canvases. All artists partaking in this exhibition are best known for prioratizing their artistic expression and individuality over mass production and commerical success. All participating  artists produce a limited number of pieces, with  each  piece of art being one with a unique or deeply personal message.

David Debono, is a Gozitan artist who has previously exhibited at Art by the Seaside in Senglea with great success. His works are sought after by many, since they evoke a sense of nostalgia in turn creating an intimate interaction with each viewer. Although David is known for his monochromatic paintings, this time round he is venturing into the more chromatic, creating drama with colour instead of his usual tonalist works. 

 Luca Cauchi, is  a Maltese artist currently residing in Gozo. Cauchi is well known for his thought provoking artistic talent. He delves into the classical era with a deep psychological mindframe and  profound and great knowledge. Cauchi's works promise to take viewers into the nostalgic past yet surrounded by a modernist era.

Karen Caruana is the only female artist partaking in this exhibition. Caruana is known for her deep sense of psychological impact, creating a deeply personal and therapaeutic exploration of one's psyche. Her works are known to be provocative and challenging. 

Saviour Baldacchino is well known for his powerful and thought provoking works, usually exploring controversial themes in our everyday life. For this exhibition, Baldacchino has delved into yet another medium which he cleverly uses in his paintings giving them a 3D twist. 

 Edoardo La Francesca is an Italian artist residing in Malta for the last couple of years. La Francesca is well known for his commissioned work revolving around the religious theme. He has with great success exhibited his works at Art by the Seaside Gallery, and his works are always well regarded especially within the realm of his artisitc and philosophical significance. 

 

We invite you not to miss this exceptional exhibition, where the classical symphony of the paintings exhibited promise to stir the soul and leave an indelible mark on the heart.
