The latest revelations regarding the scandal surrounding driving licenses continue to shed light on how the people are suffering for every fraud and corruption scandal, the Nationalist Party said in a statement on Tuesday.
The PN said that today's statements, describing Robert Abela's words as an incitement to anarchy, are extremely worrying. The PN said that it is demanding that Robert Abela, in his capacity, apologise and explain how he intends to resolve this crisis that he and his government have created.
The PN said that it is impossible to justify messages exposing corrupt practices on our roads. This scandal raises serious doubts about the safety of Maltese and Gozitan roads with drivers who obtained their driving license with ease, posing a risk to themselves and the public.
All of this also results in an increased risk to the population, and insurance companies will face more expenses.
The Nationalist Party demands that action be taken to protect the interests of the entire population.
The statement was signed by the PN’s transport spokesperson Adrian Delia.
