The government is currently holding internal discussions on the medical brief for a new hospital in Gozo, Health Minister Chris Fearne said on Monday.
Answering a parliamentary question by PN MP Alex Borg, the minister said that apart from plans on the future hospital, services offered by the current Gozo General Hospital have been improved.
Apart from an ongoing issued tender for a new MRI system, he said that there has been an increase of 13 new medical consultants offering their services within the hospital.
