The Gozo Diacese, has been operating a new initiative aiming to provide 90 meals per week to a number of vulnerable individuals who are unable to provide for themselves.

The food for the project titled "Our Daily Bread", is prepared in the kitchens of Villa San Lawrenz and Dar l-Arka, and is distributed three times a week from the Convent of St. Francis in Victoria. Here a group of volunteers assists in the distribution of the food, it said.

The Diocese would like to express special thanks to the Conventual Franciscan Friars and to David's Bakery (Ta' Kerċem) and J.J. Zammit Supplies, who are sponsoring this project.

Additionally to further expand the services of Dar l-Arka for families with children with disabilities, the Diocese has established a support group for parents of children with disabilities. The first meeting took place on Friday, 17th November, at Dar l-Arka in Għajnsielem, where these meetings will continue every three weeks.
