The gallerists of Gallery 23 in Balzan, Rachel Said and Alexia Gingell Littlejohn, are pleased to present their next Collective, displaying works by 20 artists. The idea of the Collectively Solo exhibitions started in 2020 when the Solos which had been booked at the Gallery had to be postponed due to the pandemic. In December they had invited those artists to exhibit their work together, resulting in a very successful and interesting Collective. Although there was no theme or link between the artwork the gallerists selected a few pieces that flowed well together. At the time this exhibition was available online, however, since then it became an annual event at Gallery 23.
This year they are organising Collectively Solo III where they are giving the opportunity for emerging artists to exhibit alongside more established ones, introducing some new names to the resident artists. This collection offers a wide range of appealing artworks and includes paintings and ceramics, ranging from figurative to landscape together with a selection of abstracts, all in a variety of mediums and tones.
