An elderly man was taken to hopsital on Saturday morning after he was being hit by a car, the police said.
The man, aged 81 of Luqa, was hit by a Toyota Starlet driven by a 26-yea-old man of Tarxien.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
The accident happened in Gudja Road at 10.15am.
