No rain is expected on Christmas Day, but strong winds are forecast for the preceding weekend as well as on the day.

According to the weather forecast on the MIA website, the possibility of rain exists today, Wednesday and Thursday, and this will be followed by four days of strong winds.

The wind will pick up at Force 5-6 on Thursday, become Force 7 on Friday and reach Force 8 on Saturday. It will drop to Force 6 on Sunday and to 4-5 on Monday.

The temperature is expected to be a steady 16-17 high throughout the week and a low of 11-12 at night.
