A man was injured after he crashed into a wall in Mosta early on Thursday morning.

Police said that at around 45 minutes past midnight on Thursday an accident happened in Triq id-Difiza Civili in Mosta.

Preliminary investigations on site showed that a 60-year-old man from Mosta suffered injuries after he lost control of the Hyundai i30 that he was driving and subsequently crashed into a wall.

He was given first aid and taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

Police said that investigations are ongoing.
