A biker was injured on Saturday after being involved in a collision with a car, the police said.

The accident took place in Punici Street, Munxar, at noon.

It involved a Yamaha Crypton bike and a Nissan Qashqai driven by a 71-year-old man.

The biker, a woman aged 24, was taken to Gozo general hospital with grievous injuries.

Both motorists are from Munxar.
