A biker was grievously injured in a collision at the Saqqajja Hill, limits of Rabat, on Wednesday afternoon, the police said.

The biker, a 38-year-old man of Rabat, was riding a Yamaha which was involved in a collision with a Mazda 3 driven by a 35-year-old man of Naxxar.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The accident took place at 3.15pm.
