A man was critically injured on Thursday afternoon after he fell three storeys while working in a theatre in Victoria, the police said Friday.

The accident took place in Republic Street at 5.30pm.

The man, aged 48, of Victoria, fell while working in the theatre.

He was taken to Gozo Hospital with serious injuries.

Magistrate Brigitte Sultana is leading an inquiry.
