Italian showgirl Lorella Cuccarini is in Malta for the first time.
Cuccarini announced her presence on the social media pages, saying she is preparing to host a concert in Malta later on in the year.
She said that the Maltese public follows Italian TV shows with great interest, and many have learnt the language via TV.
She expressed gratitude for the affection that the Maltese people have always shown her.
