The Head of Strategy at the Correctional Services Agency Svetlana Muscat has been put on forced leave after having been interrogated by the police, MaltaToday reports.

It reports that the home affairs ministry did not confirm case details, but did say that the police are investigating an incident, and that "the person in question has been on forced leave from her job at CSA since then."

MaltaToday then went on to quote sources as saying that the official was allegedly allowing people to meet with Yorgen Fenech in her office at the prison.
